Dementia India Alliance (DIA) is committed to ensuring that quality dementia care services are available across India. Given the country’s cultural diversity, it is essential to have regionally adaptable services that meet the unique needs of local communities. That’s why DIA collaborates with organizations across India to create culturally sensitive, accessible, and high-quality dementia care solutions.
As Outreach Partners, organizations play a key role in expanding awareness, enabling early diagnosis, capacity building and improving dementia care services in their region. By working together, we can bridge critical gaps and bring meaningful change to people and families affected by dementia.
> Collaborate actively with DIA to promote dementia care in your region through setting up care services (day-care, memory clinic, residential), support programs, training, workshops, and screenings.
> Support and promote dementia care services, including the National Dementia Support Line and DemClinic.
> Participate in DIA’s national events, awareness campaigns, and advocacy efforts.
> Organize dementia awareness programs, conferences, training, and screening in your region
> Meet performance benchmarks and comply with DIA’s standards and protocols.
> Technical guidance and operational support to set up and run dementia care services.
> Training of Trainers (ToT) programs and access to high-quality training materials.
> Standardized kits and guidelines for awareness, workshops, and community outreach programs.
> Internship and exposure opportunities for your team or students at DIA-partner facilities.
> Branding materials and guidelines to boost visibility as a DIA Outreach Partner.
> Assistance in resource mobilization and enhancing visibility of direct services as needed.
Educational and research institutions, hospitals, universities, non-profits, NGOs, and corporates actively engaged in dementia or allied care fields are encouraged to apply.
To ensure effective collaboration, Outreach Partners are expected to:
> Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DIA.
> Actively participate in DIA-led dementia programs, campaigns, and advocacy efforts.
> Comply with DIA’s standards and protocols in service delivery.
> Submit periodic reports and assessments on performance and impact.
> Engage in quality monitoring and maintain sustainability.
