Dementia India Alliance (DIA) is a non-profit family carer-centered national organization established under the Societies Act, with a primary focus on supporting family caregivers and fostering a dementia-inclusive society. Our mission revolves around connecting, inspiring, and empowering individuals, organizations, and government bodies to enhance the quality of life for individuals with dementia and their families. DIA stands at the forefront of the fight against dementia, aiming to improve the overall well-being of affected individuals through compassionate care and support.
Dementia has become a silent epidemic in India. With millions of lives being affected, now is the time to speak up and lend our support to persons living with Dementia and their caregivers across the country.
We're honoured to have Dr. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw join us in our mission towards creating a stronger community around Dementia care in India and we hope that her words inspire you to join us too.
